Only 2 positions open Newmont (buy £1pp) and sell Dax30 (£1pp) these appear to set off each other – but I think relatively they will protect me from a rally in the markets say following a 1% point rate cut – ie Newmont will rally higher and have limited downside if the markets fall.

Interesting times, see the chart below for the entire commodity run up since the end of the 20 year bear market in 2001.
January saw the largest monthly gain in 6 years and made a high of around 570 this week.

Closed Robusta positions early in week, only to reopen 4/5 on Thursday – Friday looked like a reversal day and so will stop out on Monday.
