Sold 2/5 of NY coffee – at entry price – no profit/loss as market is closed lower at 159.95, still £3pp open as ‘core position’ with a open loss of £4.50 (ie will ride through a correction as a barometer for when to add to position).
Bought NEM Newmont Mining again at $50.54 – £1pp [...]

Coffee trade still on, set tight stops but market just continued higher today – slight correction from yesterday, set stops at 2156 (1), 2148 (1), 2146 (1) and 2120 (2) so only the 2156 got hit before price took off again and setttled at 2181. So still 4/5 of position still open may move [...]

Coffee brewing up

My positions in coffee are showing a combined profit of £947 as of today (Robusta £607 and Arabica £340). I am feeling that it has been a good run up recently, since December and have no reason to sell, but for some reason am feeling a bit edgy about the position.

Breakout day for near month coffee (March)… High of the day was 144.00, and no time to set buy stops, so will double up position tommorow as price pulled back to 142.50.
Robusta also showing strength, other positions, Sugar closed out 2/5 position left with 1/5 open in loss.

Here is my open position as of yesterday, Coffee has gained today and made a high at 2128 before falling back some, as have silver, buying more at 1710.

Long DAX30 since closed for a loss of about £75 and also stopped out of £15/point NR at 106. Will buy back in as it moves [...]
