“Do not anxiously expect what has not yet come. Do not vainly regret what has already passed.”
I have many trading books but as many thought provoking ones with practical wisdom. Robert Ringer is a favorite author of mine, his books have corny titles but there are a lot of useful real life tips in them, such as his ‘present living habit’ and a list of questions that need to be answered by anyone who is serious about fostering the present living habit and avoid wasting years investing time in activities that have no meaning to you. Do not be fooled by the simplicity.
1. What do I enjoy
2. What am I good at
3. What do I want out of life
4. What’s the price
5. Am I willing to pay the price.
Sometimes taking an initial loss is better in life as with trading, it has worked for me, though it is not easy.
